Well what do you expect? They’re introducing a new character, they have to pay him attention. I’m looking forward to seeing how the team treats him, especially Reid. 🙂

If I could have hand picked someone to replace Morgan, I could not have done a better job than they did….Adam is just so perfect for the role…Can’t wait to see this season

I don’t know why people are seriously thinking about this “No Hotch, No Watch” thing. I get it, you are mad, but this is pissing me off 100%. I though about it too, then I realized, if you were a true fan, you would never do that, EVER. I love that they are taking a new direction with the season, but to hate on the actors is very low. This is coming from a fan who has only been one since January. And that is saying a lot.

I understand you perfectly. I hate when people say “No Hotch, No watch” I understand that some people are mad but is not fair to say “Ok, just cancel the tv show” They are so sellfish with the rest of us. In my case I started to watch this serie again in October and I will supporting it.

we repect you opinion. But like you say : only been a fan since January. I on the other hand have spent about 8,800 hours watching CM (calculated a 40 min per episode and about 20 episodes seen per season) and you will see YOU will care for the characters, not only the story line. Hotch has been through so much and TG has been in the show since the very beginning, pushing for the show like everyone else to be a sucess. So yes the guy made a mistake, suspend him but Not fire him, there are a lot of plot lines that wont work without him. He is the center of the team.

I don’t get why people think that just because you are a fan for such a short period of time, doesn’t mean that you are not emotionally invested in it. I have spent my whole entire summer literally binge-watching the show three times now, and let me tell you something, I have seen incredible things from CM. Yes, Hotch has been there from the start, but you can’t just cancel the show just because of him. I thought about abandoning the show, then I realized something. I haven’t seen the best just yet.

I know after season 5 things changed, and I look from a point of view that is mostly unbiased. I choose my favorites, choose my favorite seasons, and choose my favorite episodes, but I will go into a episode, knowing that they are at least trying to make it look good. And if it doesn’t, so what? I haven’t been there from the beginning, because CM started in 2005 and I was only 2, but I love the show with my heart and soul. I’m an NCIS fan first, and that is very true, but CM is truly one of the greatest shows I have ever seen.

You can go on and on about how the show will fail because TG was fired. Look at it this way, it’s not fair to the other fans who want to keep pushing on, who want the best, and who really want to see more. The show has changed over the years, but guess what, the show must go on. CM is an ensemble, but some people don’t really see it that way. They have to focus on one character, but again, I watch from a mostly unbiased POV. I look at the cast as a whole, not just one character.

Tari said that she was a fan from the start, I’m a fan since January. But we both have one thing in common, we want to see the show take on new things. Even if it means stirring the pot a little bit. Even if it means not seeing the backbone of the show not be there. I get it, without Hotch, the show is a jellyfish. What he did was wrong though, and we don’t know the whole story. There are so many point of views out there that I seriously don’t know what the hell is going on. Guess what, do your “No Hotch, No Watch” thing. I will be here supporting the show, even if it means watching online after Wednesday because I have Youth Group.

Massive rant, yes. Hopefully managed to get my point across, *crosses fingers*

That “mistake” was ASSAULTING someone. It is not acceptable behaviour, we do not live in a freaking jungle. He could be charged with assault and battery if Virgil chose to press charges. He didn’t make a mistake, he broke the law. It’s not his first offense either. He had already shoved a coworker a few years back(Ian). How long should CBS wait, how much should CBS forgive? Until Gibson goes far enough to break a co-worker’s head? He was creating a dangerous work environment. I think all these #nohotchnowatch people cannot make the distinction between Aaron Hotchner the fictional character and Thomas Gibson, the real life person, who clearly has anger management issues and violent outbursts. Firing him was just what needed to be done, otherwise the message sent to Gibson and everyone else for that matter, is that it’s ok to assault someone. Well it’s not. There are consequences for breaking the law.
This rant is coming from a major Hotch fan, just so you know.

So excited for season 12! Love watching the show, adore Reid! I’m hoping the writers will be kind and maybe give him a girlfriend for this season, ya know, like for keeps? Another agent who isn’t what you’d expect to see him with? Maybe? Please?

I hear you. I’ve been wanting Reid with JJ since the beginning of time (sorry Will), but if it isn’t going to ever happen, PLEASE give him someone! For keeps, like you say!

    To Lena…and others.

    Lena, your rant kicks butt!

I thought, “no HOTch (no error…purely intentional!), no watch!” But in fact, I love the show. It is so different from all other crime shows, as it analyzes the mind of the criminal person – the UnSub – contrary to e.g. “CSI”. They get some DNA rather fast, just by testing blood etc…but IRL, it takes a long time and hard work to get DNA from blood, hair, etc. But each episode takes 45 minutes or so…so, they HAVE to get their hands on the DNA FAST!! 😉

I love how the BAU agents profile the UnSubs based on the crime scenes and on the victims’ lives. “If you want the predator, go for the prey!” I like the way they think. I surely WILL miss HOTch (still no error!); I like, what he has become; a huggy “Care Bear”. I remember the hug, he gave Kate Callahan, aka Jennifer Love Hewitt, in the last episode of S10. Aaaaww! THAT was a “wish I were her” moment!

I love, how kind HOTch is to Jack, his son. I always loved those scenes. S5, eps. 9…”100″…was heart-breaking…but so good. I know, Thomas has kicked someone, and that’s NOT okay. I don’t like violence, but I feel, that Gibson should have had an award for his splendid performance in “100”. He was so good! He really acted his *$$ off! I remember hollering/shouting/cheering for HOTch, when he beat Foyet into a pulp! But luckily, twas just ACTING back then. That’s why I cheered for HOTch! Otherwise, I’d be FREAKED OUT!!

I will keep watching this wonderful show! I still love “Uncle Dave” (the handsome Italiano: Joe Mantegna), Dr. Reid, JJ, AND PRENTISS…Paget Brewster. I SO love, that she is back! “A badass chick on Criminal Minds”…quoting John Stamos (from “Grandfathered”).

Criminal Minds is a good show, which I will keep watching. I also like, that Adam “Eric Delko” Rodriguez is on the show now. He’ll add some “spice” to the stories…but he can’t replace Morgan or HOTCh. But one thing is for sure: I am looking forward to S12!

CRIMINAL MINDS ROCKS AND RULES!! I live in Denmark…but if I had the chance, I’d love to visit the “CrimMinds” set. Seriously!
