Sneak Peeks Abound for Tonight’s CM Episode 12×14, “Collision Course”

Sneak Peeks Abound for Tonight’s CM Episode 12×14, “Collision Course”!

“…I swear to God I’m telling you the truth!”

In just a matter of hours we’ll be caught up in the next chapter of Spencer Reid’s ongoing dilemma. I realize that the team has to continue catching UnSubs that aren’t Scratch for the duration, but I don’t think I’m alone in feeling like Reid’s dire straights are what we really want to be watching. How this ultimately unfolds is going to inform this man’s life in every way moving forward, and our concern for him is at peak levels. Not only are viewers saddened, anxious, and worried about these events, but it appears so far that our fears are not unfounded. He’s in serious trouble, and I can barely take it. Check out the previews below to see what I mean, if you haven’t already!

I appreciate all you do to inform us CM lovers when it comes to CM, but I think today I’m going to pretend it’s 1991, the Internet is in its infancy, and I have limited access to spoiler alerts when it comes to a TV fave of mine. I’m on a roll when it comes to some projects, some fun like writing a book review and my new film blog, which has already led to some film-related goodness only one day after it was launched, and some not so fun like cleaning and organizing a couple of closets. I don’t need the distraction!

However, I can’t wait for your review. And how aptly named is this episode, Collision Course, both literally and figuratively?

Yeah, well lets hope they don’t throw up any road blocks for our Spencer getting out on bail! BTW, if any of you readers want to check out Jen’s film blog, go here: https://popcorninmybra.wordpress.com/.

      She has excellent insight!

I don’t think I’m alone in feeling like Reid’s dire straights are what we really want to be watching.

LOL, nope. I imagine the team’s feeling that way right now, too. “Can’t these serial killers take a friggin’ break for a while so we can help our friend, for cripes’ sakes?”

Rossi volunteering to pay the bail, no matter how high, warmed my heart so much. This is why I love him :). And JJ…oh, man. Poor thing. Again, I love that the show’s letting us see her being so deeply affected by all of this. I can practically SEE her memories of everything with Reid and Hankel coming back when I see her looking all worried and upset, and I just love how concerned she is for him. I really hope we get more of that as the season goes on :D.

And Reid in that interrogation. Oof. Talk about intense. I like the tough nature of this lawyer, though, and I’m hoping that toughness will bode well in terms of her ability to fight for Reid’s freedom. I’m glad she came to believe him fairly quickly, too-all I could think about was the fact that Reid’s just not that good a liar :p. Which will also hopefully bode well for him going forward.

I think this episode’s going to leave me even more nervous than last week’s did! I’m going to be on pins and needles during this entire trial. It’s so nice to see Reid looking like his old self again, though, and starting to sound like his old self, too. I can’t wait to see how he and the team will fight all of this going forward.

Despite being very nervous about this episode and Spencer’s arc as a whole, I remain positive (I have to, or I’d go mad) that Spencer will triumph even though things are so very bleak. Yes, Spencer is a gentle, empathetic, sweet-natured soul. But he’s tougher than he looks. He’s a survivor.

I can’t stop watching the episode. If this was on Netflix I’d never sleep, just binge the entire season. They’ve set this up so that it could go so many different directions and I need to know what happens NOW! My poor babe. <3

I can’t say as I was overjoyed by Hotch being dropped from the show, but I carried on watching until this episode. I live in the UK and Sky screen the show here. This episode though they have refused to show for the forseeable future due to the storyline featuring victims being killed by an unsub in a car in a similar manner to a terror outrage here in London. I’m not completely insensitive, but this seems to be the perfect point at which to stop watching the show. Even discussion of the situation has been closed-down by Sky in their Forums. Case closed, as it were. I resent the decision to watch it or not being taken for me by a tv company that I pay for the service. I wonder if others in the UK might take similar action.

If you decide you’d like to continue watching, Amazon has the eps in HD for a mere $3 each, immediately after they air. At least they do here in the States, I imagine Europe would be similar.
